Leola married David L. Brennan in 1958, and he preceded her in death in 2011. Surviving are her son, Mark Brennan of Chelsea, two grandchildren, Jennifer Pardo, and Lisa Coyle, four great-grandchildren, Joan, Evan, Matthew, and Abigail; and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Brennan of Farmington Hills. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, LaDonna McRae. She loved her home in the city of Chelsea and was a wonderful homemaker and gardener.

She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as spending time at Four Mile Lake. She was involved in the Chelsea Community, volunteering for Faith in Action and planning the 1951 CHS class reunions. Paul was born on September 1, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to Harry and Alice Cousins. He graduated from Portage High School, and later Bryan College in Dayton, TN, where he met Pat. They were married for 61 years and raised their family in Dexter. Orlando was blessed with a wonderful family and he always put Judi and the kids, before himself. He loved the ocean very much; besides home, it was his happy place. Orlando had a special drive inside him that always pushed him to do better.

Karen Ruth Brown , of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at her longtime home in Ann Arbor. Karen was born October 19, 1946 to Elmer A. Johnson and Agnes V. Johnson. On December 30, 1967, she married Lawrence S. Brown. Later in life, Al and Mick enjoyed wintering in Bradenton, Florida, where they kept a second home and remained active and social well into their 80s.Al was always active in community affairs. He was a member of the Dexter Board of Education, the State board of directors of the Michigan United Fund, the public relations committee for the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce, and the Michigan Advisory Committee to the U.S. She graduated from West Michigan Christian High School in 1954, and went on to graduate from Calvin College in 1958 with a degree in music education.
Bob was born on March 9, 1921 on his family's Centennial Farm in Webster Twp., the first born child of Carl and Emma Mast. Although he put up with Parkinson’s disease, congestive heart failure, and skin cancer among other things, he never complained or let those ailments slow him down. He accepted his conditions with grace, and as a lifetime philosopher, he recognized and accepted that living to 100 came with a heavy price that he was more than willing to pay. “Al” Samborn, age 100, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Chelsea Retirement Community-Glazier Commons in Chelsea, Michigan. Born November 19, 1922, in Clare, MI, he was the 6th of 8 children of the late Everett and Cynthia Samborn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Faith in Action or the UMRCPH Foundation Benevolent Care Fund.
